Did you see me?

You get a call from one of your buddies, there’s a party! You are excited because you haven’t been to one in a while. You get in the shower and get ready try to look nice because you know that there will be girls there, and you want to impress them. You arrive there and the party is wild. There playing beer pong in the other room. You join except you’re not very good at this game so you’re the one that is drinking the most.
You feel tipsy but you think you’re good that you can keep going. Because duh you know that if you stop drinking that people will think you’re a baby or something so you take shot after shot till you can barely walk. Then you leave at about 12:00. You’re swerving in and out of cars not hitting then but almost hitting them. My car is on the side of you swerve. You run into the side of my car sending me rolling down the hill. Your cars slides down but doesn’t roll. As my car rolls glass is flying everywhere around me I hit my head on the steering wheel a dozen times. I hear Sirens raging, they must be coming. Now I'm lying on the pavement, and I hear the policeman say,” The kid that caused this wreck was drunk,"
I feel a sharp pain in my upper thigh, I look down to see what is was, it was a huge piece of glass, deep in my leg., I could see the bone, it doesn’t really hurt anymore, I cant really breath anymore, and all around my face. As my car rolls its last time, my arm get caught under the car from where it rolled. I hear ripping and bones crunching with the force of the collision on my body. As I lay there in pain and agony, I ask myself.
Did you see me? I was driving on the opposite side of the road. I didn’t see you coming, it happened so fast, one moment I was in my car listening to the radio, then the next I’m laying on the pavement with glass all around me, and a warm liquid surrounding me, did you see me? I saw you, get in your car and drive off. Did you ever think as you took that last shot that this would be your future.
Paramedics arrive with a worried look in their eyes. My own blood's all around me, as I try hard not to cry. I can hear the paramedic say,” This girl is going to die." The doctor at the hospital exclaimed, "DOA!" My father's in shock, my mother in tears, she collapses in grief, overcome by the fear. The cops came to my house, with sadness in their heart; they have to tell a mother that there child has died, from the carelessness of another.
Blood on your hands, you have taken a precious life that wasn’t yours to take. Think of all I had going for me in my life. You left me lying there on the ground to die, while you drive home and sleep it off. I hadn’t even graduated high school yet. I was just about to. I wanted to go to college to become an RN. I wanted to settle down get married and have children. I can do none of these things now, because of your careless act of drinking and driving.
You took something from me that will never be given back. While I was laying there in the remains of my car you are home in your nice warm bed... You think that the accident was all a hallucination from all the alcohol you drank. I wish you could see what you have done, not only have you hurt me but you have also hurt my loved ones. My family and friends. Have to live with that someone killed there, loved one because he choose to drink and drive.
