 Your friend was in South Dakota

I don't know if this helps, or if it's too late, but I was able to find this. It seems your friend was in Kyle, South Dakota and not Nebraska.

KYLE - Eric S. Kills In Water, 23, Kyle, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, in Gordon, Neb., as a result of a car accident. Survivors include his daughter, Nevaeh O'Rourke, and his mother, Effie Kills In Water, both of Kyle; two brothers, Edwin Kills In Water, Rapid City, and Elliott Kills In Water, Lincoln, Neb.; and three sisters, Marbaleen Kills In Water, Sioux Falls, Gwendolyn Kills In Water, Wanblee, and Colleen Kills In Water, Pierre.

A two night wake was Saturday, Feb. 7, at Mediator Church in Kyle. Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 9, at the church, with the Rev. Cordelia Red Owl officiating.

Burial was at Mediator Episcopal Cemetery in Kyle. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss, I hope that if you haven't by now, that this information helps you to find more information about your friend. I hope that this helps you find some peace. I know what it is like not to have answers to your questions. My daughter, Mari-Caite was killed a year and a day after your friend, and we are in South Carolina. I hope I have helped in some small way.
