You may not feel it but you make an impact on people. Seeing how such an amazsing person could have that happen to them really hits home. Seeing Ashleah's sister made me feel as if it was me. What if my little sister had been killed? I couldn't handle it the way she does. You're inpirational.

I am so sorry for your loss. I want to spread the word about the dangers of drinking and driving. I found this link that visually shows how much of a problem it is - http://www.sr22insurancequotes.org/dui-stats-brought-to-life.html

please contact me
by: Tiffany

Hi my name is Tiffany Harris. my sister and I are both safety team members at our job. We recently did an event involving drunk driving and road distractions. I wanted to contact you to let you know and hope that you didnt mind that we used many stories in the event and yours was one of them. Are goal was to show people reality of what may happen if they made the choice to drive this holiday. We brought actual pictures of wrecks including my own brothers whom I lost in 2008 as well as real stories of victims or their families. I did not show Ashleah's picture out of respect because i didnt know how you would feel but I did print the story you wrote. I hope you dont mind and I do apologize if you do. I just wanted you to know that Ashleah's story was one of the first placed in the event and I feel that her story as well as others made impact on several people. please contact me at Nobodys_property03@yahoo.com

I WILL SPREAD THE WORD ON DRINKING AND DRIVING.I HAVE A MYSPACE AND IM ALWAYS WRITEING BULLETINS AND BLOGS ABOUT DRINKING AND DRIVEING. I HAVE DONE SEVERAL SPEECHES AT SEVERAL CHURCHES IN MY AREA. THE CHURCHES I SPOKE AT TOLD ME IT WAS THE MOST POWERFUL MESSAGE THEY HAD EVER HEARD ON DRINKING AND DRIVING. THE YOUTH CLASSES I TALKED TO ALL CRYED WHEN I CRYED, LAUGHED WHEN I LAUGHED AND WAS SO INTO EVERY WORD. I WAS VERY PROUD AT THE TIME BECAUSE I DID FEEL I REACHED SOMEONE AT THE CHURCH. I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT MY HEART ACHES FOR YOU, FOR I KNOW YOUR PAIN. I WILL DO WHATEVER I CAN TO HELP SPREAD THE WORD ON DRINKING AND DRIVING. DRINKING AND DRIVEING KILLS AND WE MUST CONTINUE TO SPEAK OUT.GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I KNOW YOUR ASHLEAH WOULD WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY. I will make a promise
by: Kim George

My name is Kim and I know some people that drink and drive.

I will make my commitment to speak out and stop them. I have been trying.

I put this site on my facebook and made a statement about drinking and driving.

I lost someone that was once my boyfriend.

I never was able to let him know how much he meant to me.

I will try to help in some way.
I send my Condolences and heartfelt Sympathy.

Sincerely,
Kim George

You will hear my voice loud and clear....
by: Suzanne In Connecticut

Mr. Richards,

First I'd like to say, I'm so sorry for you loss...My husband was killed by a drunk driver 4.16.06....I have called on Senetors, congressmen, you name it to do something about this increasly senseless loss of life...I don't feel the sentence fits the crime, at least in my state....The man that killed my husband, was almost 3 times the legal limit, had no idea he killed someone, and before he decided to flee the country was only looking at doing 2 to 3 years jail time...which he never did, because, he wasn't a citizen of the US and went back to his country when it was sentencing time....You have my word, you will hear my voice for your Ashleah, and my husband, and all the innocent people killed by drunk drivers....

I agree
by: Debra

I agree with you - I am a relative of Stephanie McGill (see her profile). We too believe that many people look the other way when they see others who have been drinking get in a car to drive. A string of events has to happen before a drunk driver crashes his/her car. I agree, have the guts to stop someone before they do something you will regret you didn't stop.
