Feb 02, 2010 Deeply Sorry for Your Loss by: Debra DeFrain Hi Serena, Let me say I am deeply sorry for the loss of your beautiful sons and saddened that yet one more parent has had to search for this web site. While I will not pretend that I understand the complete magnitude of your loss, I do understand the loss of a son to a horrific and tragic alcohol related accident. I lost my 28 yr old son on Jan 4th of 2009 from injuries incurred in a New Years Eve Accident. This early in your journey of grief, you can not even comprehend that you will survive the pain of losing your children. You will get through this Serena. You will wake up one awful, agonizing day at a time and put one foot in front of the other. Eventually, all of the awful days add up to a year, and your grief becomes just a little softer. There is a wonderful website called Beyond Indigo for parents that have lost children. It is a community that I entered shortly after my son died. While I did not post often, reading the experience of other parents helped me to better manage my own loss. Visit there when you are ready. Feb 01, 2010 you will somehow get threw this, my heart aches for u by: paula FIRST LET ME SAY IM SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSSES. I LOST TWO SONS IN TWO DIFFERENT BUT YET ALCOHOL RELATED WRECKS. I FEEL YOUR PAIN. I HEAR THE ANGER IN YOUR STORY, IVE BEEN THERE. IT IS SO HARD. JUST REMEMBER ONE SWEET DAY YOU WILL SEE THEM AGAIN.
