Remembering Justin and Amanda NEW
by: Melissa

After being given an old picture today that my sister found of Justin I began thinking about all of the great times we had. Justin was such an amazing person. There was not one day that went by that he was not smiling or making someone laugh. We were all so proud and excited when he finally came home from the Marines. I remember the weekend we came home. Jake, Drake, Robert, and I drove to San Diego to pack his stuff and bring him home. It was an unforgettable weekend. After a few months home Justin met Amanda. I had never seen him so happy with someone. She really brought out the best in him. I was excited as well because her and I had gotten along really well. We were both huge Packer fans. I can honestly say that since the accident everyone who knew them changed. A piece of my heart died that day with them, a piece I will never get back. RIP Justin and Amanda

I remember that day..
by: Becky

I was driving home to Sullivan from Oconomowoc when I came to the accident scene.. it was shortly after the accident had happened. My heart dropped when I saw the accident scene.. I am soooo sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine being in your shoes..I too have a sis who is my mentor and best friend and I can't imagine how hard it must have been not only to lose her but to watch your mom in such pain and misery and all of the therapy that she must have had to go through, as well as your sisters boyfriend. You are a very strong woman and reading your story has inspired me. Why is it that we dont feel the impact or realize how serious this is until something bad happens to someone we love?
