Thanksgiving not so thankful

Dylan Lee was a vibrant 6 year old in first grade, in november of 2003 he was taken when the truck he was riding in was driven by a drunk driver. it went off the road rounding a corner and hit a tree and slid into a ditch. his head was slid between the truck and tree. He was on his way home only a third of a mile away when it happened. his brother who was only 3 was in the truck with him and hardly injured. the driver left them in the back of the truck to get a phone. he loved sports, he will never marry or graduate high school or college. i am his mother and i have vowed to find a way to increase penalties for drunk drivers who drive with their children in the car. his brother who is now 8 still remembers that night. i buried him a few days later and have not been able to hug or kiss my baby for over 4 and a half years. my heart breaks daily for my lost child. and for anyone else that has their loved ones stolen from them by the ignorance of others. Dylan we love and miss you every day.
