Treyton Michael Kilar

On September 2, 2010, 6 year old Treyton Michael Kilar was killed by an alleged drunk driver. As he, his father, and two sisters drove home from a High School volleyball game, they were struck on Highway 20 and County Highway N in the Walworth County town of Troy. He is loved by his mother, father, three sisters, extended family and many many friends. Treyton loved baseball, everyone had hoped for him to be a Brewer one day, because he loved the game and sharing it with others. In memory of Trey the city of Whitewater will be constructing a "Treyton Kilar Field of Dreams." There have been many fundraisers such as a Benefit Concert, Play for Trey volleyball game, Play for Trey youth baseball game to provide donations to the field. Students at Whitewater High School came together and created a chapter of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) in their own school. 189 students showed up to the first meeting. Everyone who knew Treyton always saw his beautiful smile. He could lighten anybody's day. I personally have many great memories of Trey, that will stick in my mind forever. Many communities have come together to keep Treytons memory alive, as he would be so blessed to know how many lives he touched in 6 short years.

Always think twice, if you've had a drink, hand over your keys. SAVE LIVES. Because you not only take a life, but you take the future that life holds.
